Hi Mike My 3x gt grandfather John Bason was born in Lydbury, his brother Charles was born in Bishop's Castle. They moved out of the area. John joined the army and moved to Newcastle under lyme and Charles married in Stanton Lacy and moved to Ludlow. Thanks for the offer of help about Bishops Castle but at the moment i have very little info and no definite evidence they were actually ever at Bishop's Castle.
