I would like to exchange information with anyone working on the Atkinson family in Shropshire. They were intermarried with the Waring's but any attempt I have made to contact them I have met with a solid block of ice. There is a book called "The Atkinson Family of Roxy and their related families" and my Waring's play a big part in that book. All I know is William Griffith Waring's memoirs says the there was no need to record his family tree beyond Edmund Waring born 1722 because it was already recorded back 12 generations. I have never been able to find that recording but have through diligence, hard work, and friends in England been able to go back 4 generations beyond Edmund to Henery Waring married to Joanne Pierce of Shropshire 1639. This last name I found in the above book and the Wills confirm the relationship. The one time I was able to contact a member of the Atkinson family they blocked me as soon as they found out I was related to the family.
