Sometimes for text magnification I am able to use the IE sequence from the menu bar View > Text Size > Larger but in many cases this does diddlysquat. Intead, I go to Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility > Ignore Font Sizes specified on Web pages Warning: If you click on the option "Ignore colors specified on Web pages", which I do when a creative web page designer has used a deep wavy blue background with faint white type or a similar difficult-to-read combination on a website, you may find that you are unable to see certain options on the page which are differentiated only by color. Second Warning: On a list I belonged to a couple of years ago we discussed using the "Ignore colors" option to make a graphics-intensive (kittens and ribbons) website with good information easier to read. A website creator wrote us in high dudgeon. She did not think we had the ethical right to alter the results of someone's creativity in order to simplify accessing the data. This is an interesting point of view, although untenable in my opinion. Eleanor Everall Gordon California, USA
