Hi, I'm a newcomer to the list in search of enlightenment. I've found my ancestor James Philpot in the 1851 census for Wales. He gives his place of birth (c1810) at Brockton, Salop. I've googled maps and found 4 Brocktons in Shropshire. I can't find a Brockton as a parish on genuki so I'm a bit lost. Any advice would be welcome. Gwynne
