John, Ancestry gives a good account of the description of the enumerators route or at least the enumerator or his boss does. Here`s an example from the 1871 census and the same applies to all the others. There are two descriptions. I shall type a few words of one of the descriptions and the remainder I shall send to you via attachment as its a bit long drawn out and anyway its much nicer to see the original handwriting. `All that part of the parish of Prees which comprises all that part of the township of Whixall in the said parish of Prees which lies north of the road leading from Cotton turnpike gate to Ellesmere being bounded on the north by Bettisfield and the Fens.` As I said, in the 1871 there are two districts - 11 and 12 and in the first there are 20 enumeration sheets and 15 in the other. Give me some names and I will see what I can find for you and send the images on.
