Hello Gord Wills prior to 1858 for Shrewsbury and the northern half of Shropshire are at the Lichfield Record Office http://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/leisure/archives/Lichfield+Record+Office/ because that is the Diocesan Archive for Lichfield Diocese which covers north Shropshire. As far as I can see from a quick look at their site the Wills Indexes are not yet online.
