Hi Alwyn, I walked the Stiperstones last Summer and it was open then. Managed to obtain an attractive leaflet there on that occasion. I think that there was a teashop there too. Lots of well signposted footpaths open. They were,however cutting down the trees in the Nipstone Rock area which made walking at that time a little treacherous. My wife's father Arthur Pugh was brought up at Jubilee House just below that area next to the road. Best wishes Leon
