Fanny was definately born in Donnington, Lilleshall, Shropshire England. However I have found many discrepencies on the genealogy sites over my months of researching my family tree. It makes it difficult at times to make an exact match. I believe that Fanny was born out of wedlock as she lived next door with her Grandfather Edwin Watkiss (ancestry has it as "Watkin"). Fanny's parents were Margaretta Hawkins nee Watkiss born 1863 in Dorsley Shropshire and John William Hawkins born also in 1863 in Shropshire. Her father died in Mar 1891, which is the year of the census. I had to do ALOT of digging to find out the information that I have done so far. It is very interesting that I can find all this info out but nothing at all comes up on the 1901 census. I have extensive information as to her birth and such but absolutely nothing as to her death. She came over to Canada in 1930 and resided in Ontario for years. I am desparately trying to find her somewheres in the 1901 ! census. Thank You again...
