For recently joined folk, I'm interested in these familes, especially from the early 19th century. Other details can be found in the rootsweb archives. Pooles had the grey Ladywood 'Station hotel', and 'Bath Tavern' now a private house in Bath Lane. One was the Town Crier, others were china painters and hairdressers, and later butchers and bakers in Dawley. Bathursts had the Benthall Pottery. Glazebrooks had a grocery store and Steam engine patents. Tomlins had a motor garage in the present 'Museum of the Gorge' on the Severn edge. Merry Xmas, Richard Poole
