If Santa were to give me the Christmas gift of a lifetime it would be for someone to find the birth and marriage of my George IVESON - Born around Wellington/Wem about 1831 - taking his age from censuses and his death certificate. Married about 1849 to May - born Anglesey. There is only one George Iveson about that date in the IGI - christened in Hodnet in 1824. Dare I claim him as mine despite the seven years difference in age? And yes, I have searched using every spelling variation I can think of.
