There's some uncertainty regarding his birth year as his marriage certificate suggests he's slightly older than the census returns indicate. However, in the 3-4 year likely window (1848-1852)there seem to be 4 births registered in Wellington, 1 in Clun and a further one in Cleobury. >From his marriage certificate I do also know his father was called Thomas, a publican. I'll re-check for census returns for a Thomas Lloyd in the three areas above to see if I can narrow down the options.
