Hello Patricia If you obtain the Birth Certificate for Sarah Harriott PALMER in Dec 1857 it will provide you with her mother's maiden name. You will then be able to search for the Marriage between Joseph PALMER and Eliza ...?... FreeBMD at http://freebmd.rootsweb.com shows one ( vaguely ) possible marriage at West Bromwich in Jul/Aug/Sep 1858 but you need the maiden name of the bride to establish if that is the correct one. Be aware that PADMORE may also be found as PODMORE in Shropshire.
