I've found the 1891 and 1901 census returns for him. One indicates he was born in Belenton, Salop. The other indicates he was born in Clairy, Salop. I can't find either on current maps but I believe Belenton could possibly be a corruption of Wellington. Any ideas how I may be able to pursue this?
