I have a Maria Eyton Bayley. On her birth certificate she is shown as the daughter of Maria Bowen and James Bayley, however I am almost certain that she was actually the daughter of the local doctor?James Eyton Watson. I would love to know why the name Bayley was chosen to register her birth.?
