FamilySearch.org has a record of his baptism that lists parents as John and Mary Davies. I estimate they would have been born about 1775. Francis (a wheelwright) later moved to Overton, Flintshire, Wales. He died in 1872. About 1830 he married Elizabeth (Unknown) and they had five known children. Hello I have had consistent problems with accessing the gateway message board and have virtually given up on it trying to reply to the messages that come through on the Shropshire list as gateway. Therefore I usually ignore every one that comes through as gateway. DELETE!
