Fullarton" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [ENG-SHROP] PALMER/ BLOOR Hi Joyce, Happy New Year to you. It was down the Bloor line I was talking about. Henry Meddings came from the same hamlet my Meddings family came from. A NZ connection to his family had decided they were related to my family (with a 50 year gap) so to prove they were not I researched the other Meddings family which included Henry who married Margaret Bloor. In the process I bought their marriage certificate so finding Margaret's ancestry wasn't difficult. I didn't find any marriages but I didn't really look very hard. Later I was sent the photo of their grandson Gerald Meddings. The man who had it wanted a Richards or Collins connection to him because his grandfather had kept the photo. It was taken in 1915 so it may be that they met during the War. Sorry, I can't help but best of luck in your search. Regards, Irene.
