Author: millsbros Surnames: Jones/Brisco Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.england.sal.general/6621/mb.ashx Message Board Post: My great-grandfather was Pryce Jones (possible parents - Jeremiah & Sarah Jones) and, as far as I can determine, he was born 1835 in Montgomeryshire, Wales, but lived in Shropshire (Shrewsbury, St Mary). He was married twice - Margaret Brisco (@1842) from Shropshire and Sarah Jones born Oct 1850 in Wellington, Shropshire (parents-John Jones & Mary Dabbs). Margaret has five children according to a Family Bible that I have: Henry Price (1860); William James (1862); Alfred James (1863); Ann Asterly (1865-1868) and Anna Maria (1870). Sarah had four children: John Henry (1879 - my grandfather); George (1881); Alfred (1890) and Adeline May (1892). I'm looking for any and all information concerning those that remained in England/Wales, as well as those emigrating to Canada. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
