Hi I am new to this list and looking for help, I have Mary Jane ASTBURY bn 1853 Pelsall Staffs marrying SAMUEL EVANS in 1873 at MADELEY Shropshire. I have looked for Samuel on 181881 census he is with wife who states she was born in Madeley I have checked the BMDs and can find no other marriage There are 10 births for Mary Jane Astbury between 1840 and 1870 there is only the one at Pelsall that fits with age and I can find no Deaths of either Samuel or Mary Jane prior to 1901. I know I can send for the certificate to check her father but would prefer to be sure before I buy. Her father was JOHN ( SHAW ) ASTBURY Does anyone have access to this information who would be willing to check for me please Thanks very much Wendy
