Some records are available at our State Library here. Tong, unfortunately does not go up beyond 1812 for baptisms and we do not have Child's Ercall, which seems suspiciously like your 'Childsercle.' I could find no Holder or Buttery folk in the records up to 1812 so they must have come from another parish. High Ercall, which is a fair distance away, has tons of Buttery folk. Anyway, I think I have found your Sarah Clarke in the Tong baptismal register. John Clarke of Offoxey Farm. It's probably the one and only or his father, but no real proof of course. If you Google you will find a fair bit of info re. Offoxey Farm. I could not find a marriage of John & Elizabeth, nor a death of Elizabeth up to 1812. Child's Ercall regs are available on microfilm through the LDS folk at their many family history libraries and there is one that gives monumental inscriptions for St. Michael, Child's Ercall 1771-1990. You might have fun with that! Check out what is available by going to www.familysearch.org click into library catalog and type in place name Childs Ercall. You can also do the same for Tong. I have found these microfilms to be invaluable. Good fortune Graham Melbourne Oz
