Hi Margaret If there had been an inquest the death certificate would say so. Under the section for informant it would have something like :- Certificate received from ....... Coroner for ........ Inquest held ........ I have this style on three certificates of relatives of mine. JOHN BENNETT died on the 27th June 1883 at Bardney, Worfield from the kick of a horse on the head. I should imagine there would have been an inquest into his death.
