Hi thanks for the help. In the census it looked like Trails in the earlier ones but on reflection looks like rails in the newer censuses. As to the Mone wood I have been sent a copy of a map showing it between the Milburgh Tileries and a number of colliers so perhaps there was some sort of railway there which I cannot see.
