Baptisms 1794 Jan 12 John s. of Richard Moody & Mary his w. (formerly Griffiths of Kinnerley) born Dec 8. As far as the third child goes it would not surprise me if he was baptised at Melverley next door to Kinnerley parish, but the collection we have here does not include that parish, again it could be at West Felton which is again next door, and again West Felton is not included in the collection. I did not have the time to go with any further looking for this child, but did find what I consider is the marriage you are looking for. St. Chad's Shrewsbury. (Many couples were drawn to the city for their marriages) Marriages 1786 June 19 Richard Moody and Mary Griffiths. Unfortunately there are no other details from the parish records. Shropshire Parish Register Society took down and published everything that was in the parish records regarding names, places etc. But prior to 1812 registers were fairly scant. If you wish me to look for a baptism of a Mary Griffiths, or even possibly a Richard Moody in any of the chapelries close by, let me know. Should be in the library again next week.
