I hope to make contact with any persons, anywhere in the world, who may have connections to the WEAVER families of Shropshire. My immigrant ancestor was Samuel WEAVER who arrived at Jamestown, Virginia, in 1623. He was christened at Cardington 3 Aug 1600. Our very best evidence is that Samuel's father was Thomas WEAVER who was christened at Rushbury 14 Sep 1572, and may be the Thomas buried at Dowles 24 Feb 1610. Thomas married Margaret COWPER at Rushbury 28 May 1590. Thomas' father was William WEAVER, born about 1540. On 17 Nov 1565, he married Anne ROBERTS, in Chelmarsh..
