Hello everyone. Is there some kind person, who is able to help me with a couple of queries, please? Firstly, I know that, some 200 or so years ago, there were some parishes, which were technically part of Shropshire but were "detached" geographically and were in what is / was Worcestershire. Snag is that I can't remember which ones they were. Does anyone know which parishes they were, please? I am mainly interested in any which were in what was once a very rural area to the north-east of Halesowen "proper", but would also be interested to know of any others, please. Secondly, I believe that there was, again some 200 or so years ago, a chapel-of-ease somewhere in the area to the east / north-east of Wellington / Lawley / Dawley (all now part of "Telford") and that that chapel-of-ease was linked to St Mary's Church in Shrewsbury. Does anyone have any knowledge of that chapel, please? Also, were there, in the same area & time span, perhaps other such chapel(s)-of-ease linked to St Chad's, Shrewsbury and / or Holy Cross, Shrewsbury (aka Shrewsbury Abbey). Does anyone knowledge of these, please? Many thanks in hopeful anticipation! Ken. In rural West Sussex, U.K.
