Hi all, As I have just joined the list I thought I would introduce my connection to Shropshire. According to all censuses my ancestor Zaccariah (and deriviative spellings) HOWELL was born in Madeley or Madeley Wood circa 1812. He married Maria MARTIN 31st Dec 1833 in Wolverhampton. I have searched the usual suspects for a baptism and the only one I could find was in 1813 in Wolverhampton. Does anyone connect to this person who could confirm the Staffs baptism or provide me with one in Shropshire. Many thanks Rob
Re ZECHARIAH Howell. I don't think it is the same ZECHARIAH as the Darlaston christening as a ZECHARIAH birth Darlaston can be found in several census records e.g. 1851 - living in St Mary Whitechapel, Middlesex, England.
