On Saturday in Oswestry after a discussion with a lady about the Lloyds of Knockin and Kinnerley I came across references to a member of the above family. Not sure whether my contact subscribes to the Shropshire list but just in case here is the information. Mr John Lloyd of Knockin opened a grocery shop calling it London House in Bailey Street Oswestry circa 1860. In 1867 he moved to Willow Street Oswestry opening a drapery and outfitting business. Mike, I had a look at the Border Counties up to date Advertizer indexes in Oswestry today for your Jacob and Parsonage surnames. Nothing of interest I am afraid.
