There are no known burial records online and even the microfilms available through LDS only go up to 1900. Sorry, I can't help you with Wellington. Cheers Graham Melbourne

Hello Althea Whilst the Withington MIs were transcribed by the Women's Institute as part of a county wide project in 1984, this one like most of the others were donated to the Shropshire FHS so that they could be made available to researchers worldwide. If you go to the Shropshire FHS web site at www.sfhs.org.uk then select 'Society Publications Catalogue' from the links on the left under SALES this will list all the societies publications in parish order. You will find the Withington MIs listed there. Note that you can pay with a dollar cheque from your own domestic bank account. Hi List, Reposting my Shropshire interests:- PENSON/ JENKS/ BRIERWOOD,BROTHERWOOD,SHELLEY, FENN, DAVIES. PENSON (Mainly William Penson born approx. 1831 in Lilleshall, Shropshire (cannot find a death for him, but his widow remarried 1868 in Salford, Lancs.) His parents were James PENSON (b. 1799 in Trentham, Staffordshire) & Ann JENKS (b. 1798, Lilleshall, Shropshire) Ann's parents were Thomas JENKS 23rd Oct. 1757 - 30th Nov 1828 Lilleshall, Shropshire & Charlotte BRIERWOOD (she married with this name in 1785) but was born Charlotte BROTHERWOOD OR SHELLEY. Bapt. 12 Sept. 1762 & buried 16 March 1824, Lilleshall, Shropshire. Charlotte's father was John BROTHERWOOD alias SHELLEY (I have a bastardry order for him for another child, not with the mother of Charlotte). Her mother was Sarah??? Charlotte seems to have siblings Thomas, Sarah, Joseph (present at her marriage as BRIERWOOD in 1785), and Mary. Thomas Jenks father was William JENKS who married Sarah FENN 1754. Sarah's parents seem to be Edward FENN & Elizabeth DAVIES. Hope someone will have a connection to the above and I will be able to fill them in with what I know and maybe someone will also know of some things I have not been able to find out?? Hello Cheryl I presume from your message that you live in the US in which case the best place to order copies of Birth, Marriage and Death certificates is from the General Register Office at http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ where you will be able to pay by credit card or debit card. It is also possible to order copies of certificates issued in Shropshire from http://www.shropshire.gov.uk/registrar.nsf/open/39D35A88B90FA2F2802570F100513442 Mike ______________________________________________________ CLabre1068@aol.com wrote: > Hello, I am new to the list and relatively new to English research.
