Hello Ed, You may be interested in how the MILLINGTON name connects with my PACE ancestry and BRADLEY (Staffordshire) is also where my 3X grat grandfather was said to be from. Actually, MILLINGTON connects several times in the research I've done. The inter-marriages are interesting as several of these names mentioned below are involved. http://www.pacefamilyhistory.info/uk/whit.htm - shows: Daughter of SAMUEL CHIDLOW & JANE MILLINGTON ELIZABETH CHIDLOW b 1846 wed RICHARD SUMNER b 1848 - WHITCHURCH RICHARD SUMNER's mother was a PACE RICHARD PACE + JANE TURNER b 3 Oct 1777 WHITCHURCH - m 1 Apr 1797 WEM, Shropshire - witnesses THOMAS COOKE and FRANCIS OWEN MARY PACE b 27 Feb 1814 - TILSTOCK + WILLIAM SUMNER - m 21 Nov 1842 WHITCHURCH RICHARD SUMNER b 1848 - WHITCHURCH - d January 1931 + ELIZABETH CHIDLOW b 1846 - MARKET DRAYTON - wed 29 Dec 1870 WHITCHURCH d/o SAMUEL CHIDLOW & JANE MILLINGTON from 1881 census Tilstock Source: FHL Film 1341640 * Alice Ann SUMNER b 1870 - WHITCHURCH d. 1. [ENG-SHROP] WEBB, Little Drayton.

    3. Hello,   I have found someone I have been searching for forever in 1911 census.  Her name was Selina Bagnall  and she married a Webb.  In 1911 Selina was living with her brother Thomas Bagnall and family at 73 Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton.  There were four Webb children living with her,  Almeric Bert 5, Oliver 4, Thomas Sidney 2 and Violet 6 weeks.  No sign of Selina's husband and as yet I can't find a marrriage for her.  In 1901 Selina was in London working as a servant, her son Oliver was born in London.  The other three children were born in Little Drayton.   I've had a look on Ancestry for Webb deaths in Shropshire and found Thomas Sidney Webb, born 26 Nov 1906 died Dec 2000 age 92 in North Shropshire.  Oliver Webb, born 27 Dec 1906 died in Oct 1991 age 84 in North Shropshire.   There are also a few other Webbs who lived to a ripe old age and died in North Shropshire.   I would love to hear from anyone who knows anything about Selina and her family and my Christmas wished would be complete.   Many thanks,   Cynthia

It's between Gnosall and Cannock in Staffordshire - AA Road Atlas. Many Shropshire families migrated to nearby Staffordshire. Not sure what the reason may have been. 1. Re: [ENG-SHROP] Roll Call - Baugh and Edwards
    2. My Goodness!? And a Merry Christmas to you!? Thank you so much.? That bunch is mine, all right.? A lovely gift, indeed.? Funny you should mention going westward.? I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and my grandmother (born nr. Smethwick in 1879, came to US in 1906) met someone named Baugh and mentioned that her grandmother was Caroline Baugh.? They thought it an odd coincidence and dismissed the idea that there could be any connection!? My grandmother also told me that when she was young she and her cousins would ride their bikes to Dudley Castle to see a horse trough inscribed "Baugh Brass Foundry".? Her grandfather's foundry.? We have a rotating kitchen crane Caroline Baugh's brother made for her.? It says, "To Caroline Bagggott from her brother, Silas Baugh.? Baugh Brass Foundry".? The Baugh family moved several times and ended up in Tipton.? Thank you for your help. Cheers,? 3. Pam, Thank you for replying to my message. I'm afraid that at the moment I haven't found any Broadhursts in my tree from High Offley.
