I have used Ancestry for a long time, but i'm having trouble locating a few people on the census records ( as those of you that use it will know their indexing has been terrible). Basically i'm asking if anyone can come up with these people on the 1901: Mary Ellen HEARFIELD born Hull c1888 John William PERCIVAL born Sheffield c1899 and Emily BUTTERILL born Sheffield c1900 Also on the 1891: Mark HEARFIELD born Hull c1867 I can't find any decent matches for them, if anyone else comes up with any ideas i'd be very grateful. Hi Dick Had a quick look at the 1901 census and found this Emily. Don't know if she is yours. she is a little older than the one you mentioned. The family were all indexed under Berkerall but although the writing in the census is very blurred they are definately Butterills (when magnified) in my opinion.
