Hi List I'm trying to track down where my g.g.grandfather LEVI HODGKINSON (or Hodkinson) was on the night of the 1851 Census. He wasn't at home at Dove Houses, in Ecclesall Bierlow, with his wife, Elizabeth and four children! Does anyone have any Sheffield or Derbyshire 1851 census info on him? Age about 35. He was a brewer at the time from Elizabeth's census entry. Possibly brewing beer at Uncle (?) JOSHUA HODGKINSON and Aunt(?) MARIA's beerhouse at Millhouses? If so that could confirm a family tie. Has anyone got details of the 1851 census for the HODGKINSON's at Millhouses nr Sheffield. If so that would be very much appreciated. I think Millhouses was just in Derbyshire in 1851.
