    3. Hi Bryn, >>James WORRALL and Sarah Ann HINCHLIFF. On the 1841 cens I have them living at the Ranmoor Inn, so the marriage was prior to that << Before you drive yourself crazy here is what I think..........LOL. Lets say they married circa 1840 as I didn't notice any children on the 1841 census.... Christ Church, Canterbury Ave, Fulwod was not built till 1838..... and the first marriages took place 1851. However if it worked the same as it did for Ecclesall Parish Church a ceremony could have indeed taken place in the building but the event would be registered in the Parish Churches Registers. The chance of that having happened is probably quite slim and I would like to bet they were married at the Cathedral...... that is unless they were Methodist and were married in one of the few Chapels around....but I would bet on the Cathedral. (Parish Church)......... So the moral of the story is, we need the Cathedral Records to be filmed so we can have all our brick walls to come tumbling down. But don't hold your breath....LOL. Take care. Elaine in Ottawa. Where the Tulip Festival is due to start. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
