    3. Hello Joanne, The CHAMBERS (Butterwick, Lincolnshire) connection is one that I've only just found out about (September last year) so I haven't had time to look into this name yet. The CHAMBERS person in question is Elizabeth CHAMBERS (a 2nd G.Grandmother) who in 1867 married my 2nd G.Grandfather James Henry THOMAS in Boston, Lincs (presumably St. Botolph's, Boston). Their first child appears to have been my G.Grandmother, Alice THOMAS (born 1869 in Boston) as was Alice's brother Harry b: c1871. The next child that I know of was Emma who was born c1876 in Sheffield so obviously at some stage between 1871 and 1876 James Henry & Elizabeth brought their family from Boston to settle in Sheffield presumably for work reasons, James being a Bricklayer by trade. I presume you have some connection to a CHAMBERS family from Lincs, if so I would be pleased to hear of it, as it's not Sheffield related, mail me off list and we can see if there's any connection.
