I am looking for any info on Lilian HAGUE, born 30 May 1891. I'm not sure exactly where, but it is somewhere around the Sheffield area, I did hear Heeley/Healey (not sure which one) and she was christened in Eccelsall-Bierlow, Sheffield. I'm also struggling to find her marriage. She married Thomas William Wright in about 1908 (she was supposed to have been 17 at the time) in the Sheffield area. They went on to have the following children; Mary Lydia, Anne, Lilian, Frederick, Charles Edward, Whyley, Geraldine, Edith, Jean (not necessarily in that order) I hope someone can help me break down this brick wall. Many of the URL's for you to start searching are to be found on our Web Site attached to this mailing list.... http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~engsheffield/ Free BMD's & the 1901 census are there for sure. Once you have her family from the 1901 census you can trace them back on the 1881 census and if you ask on list quoting the 1901 census information we can look for them on the 1891 census. Sylvia, I've just had a look on FreeBMD and found a marriage of a Thomas William WRIGHT, see reference below, June Qtr: 1909 WRIGHT, Thomas William - District: Ecclesall Bierlow - Vol: 9c - Page: 638 Unfortunately, when you click on the page number (638) it doesn't give Lilian HAGUE's name but this could be a possibility and might be worth risking the price of a marriage cert on if you're really struggling with this brick wall.
