    3. My thanks to Liz Newbery for her suggestions - Liz thought that she might have been with her future in-laws but they didn't want to put her down, for proprietory's sake. Or that she may be staying nearby, which was also my guess, but nothing concrete emerges. Perhaps a trawl through West Melton 1881 microfilm might be the answer. Several other people on the Notts and Dbyshire lists suggested Annie CUPIT a visitor with the COUPE family in Morton, Dbyshire.
