Hi John and all A reminder for any future simular Rootsweb server faults: When or if there seems to be a problem with your list mail deliveries then in most cases there will be a problem, either with your own ISP or with Rootsweb. When a Rootsweb fault occurs such as the recent one where the server has been offline, then posting messages asking if theres a problem will not get any response until after the list has been brought back online and mail starts being delivered again Posting these query messages only add to the problem by adding to the amount of mail the system has to queue for later delivery. The first place for Eng-Sheffield subscribers to look for advice is the list website. Look for a "List Status" link which will access a webpage with any known information. If there isnt one then access the "Rootsweb Helpdesk" webpage link on the lower right hand side of the list website home page.
