Some months have passed since I first posted the names of MOODY and GREENSMITH that I am trying to research. Nothing much has come to light. Ruth Moody 1785 - 1864 NOT verified anywhere. Her sister Elizabeth (no dates for her) married a RICHARD and went to live in Australia. Third sister SARAH (1809 - 1861) married GEORGE GREENSMITH(1811-1895) in Sheffield on 5.7.1835. George had a brother Charles (no dates) who married a MARY(1782-1862) My great grandmother was ELIZABETH GREENSMITH(1838-1907) daughter of SARAH and GEORGE GREENSMITH. Were there any more children?? I have various photographs of these people all of which seem to have been taken in Sheffield but I have no evidence of them living there - until we get to Sarah and George.
