Can anyone tell me when the Doss house building was actually built and was it purpose built or used for something else ? Frank, It wasn't there in 1903. It seems that it was a shop at one time, (P. W. Lacey). I don't remember that at all! But maybe it was built as a department store. It is also described as a 'hostel' or 'The Hostel'. It was also known as 'Tudor House' at one time. still digging...
