Hello Listers I think I have said thank you individually but just in case I missed anyone out - thank you to everyone who responded to my request. My G Grandfather was station master as Sheffield Midland from the age of 26. This means that the family story that he was the youngest station master of his time is probably true. Many thanks Stephen
