I am a new subscriber interested in the name RANDALL. My ancestor ROBERT RANDALL was born in Bradfield about 1811 his father being JOHN RANDALL. Robert went off to the Chesterfield area and stayed there. Has anyone any information or suggestions about further research in the Sheffield area? Gerard

Hello Gerard, Welcome to the Sheffield list. I have just checked the IGI for you and the following baptism is listed at St. Nicholas' Church, High Bradfield, Robert RANDALL Bap: 24th May 1812 Father: John RANDALL I have just checked my 1841 & 1851 Census CDs for Bradfield and there aren't any RANDALL'S listed at all, I have also checked the Indentures of the Pauper Children of Bradfield CD and again no RANDALL's listed, the family must have moved from Bradfield Parish prior to 1841.
