I have a Richard ELLIOTT in my tree, with the information that he was baptised 16 Sept 1832 in Froggatt Edge. He was the son of Joseph and Adelina ELLIOTT. However, I don't know where this information came from. His father was from Sheffield, and he seems to have spent all his life in Sheffield. Can anyone tell me where he was baptised please. His parents' marriage is also giving me trouble. Joseph ELLIOTT his father, son of Richard and Sarah, was baptised in Ecclesall in 1805, and died there too in 1872. His wife Adelina, nee STRAFFORD, was born in Scrooby, Notts, also in 1805, and died in Sheffield in 1874. However, they were not married in Scrooby, - nor anywhere else that I can find. Their first child that I know of was born in 1829. Can anyone tell me where they were married? Thank you for any help Regards Margaret Switzerland
