One last desperate attempt to find the following, before I give up yet again.... Joseph ELLIOTT married Adelina STRAFFORD probably around 1827. Their son Richard Elliott was born (or baptised) in 1832. They spent their lives in Sheffield and its environs, but I can find neither the marriage nor the birth.
