Marriage at St Phillip, Sheffield 24th May 1850 James Bradshaw, 22, bachelor, manager in a Razor Manufactory, of 121 Fitzwilliam Street, Ecclesall Bierlow. His father was Samuel Bradshaw, Razor Smith. Helen Farnsworth, 20, spinster, of Scotland Street, Sheffield. Her father was Charles Clement Farnsworth, Silver Plater. Marriage in the Catholic Chapel, witnesses Albert Farnsworth and Ann Farnsworth. If anyone has access to records for the 1851 or 1861 census that may show any of these people, I would really appreciate details. >> I have no census data but checked the 1852 White's Directory (online). Bradshaw James razor manufacturer, 132 Fitzwilliam street (no entry for Samuel) Farnsworth Charles Clement, victualler, Fortune of War, 102 Scotland street so he seems to have changed from Silver Plater to innkeeper. I didn't check but Christine, and anyone else with ancestors in Sheffield in 1864, should check names against the Sheffield Flood Claims site. <http://extra.shu.ac.uk/sfca> -- Harry Dodsworth Ottawa Ontario Canada af877@freenet.carleton.ca ----------------------------------------------------------------
