Hi everyone I have been trying to no avail to research my family tree I have asked previously for help from you guys with no luck. I am hoping this time will be better. My father Ernest BOOTH and his brother William BOOTH both were born in Ecclesall. My father when he was alive told the family that he and his brother were made orphans during the 1914-1918 great war and that they were brought up by Barnardo's in Sheffield. After contacting Barnardo's and getting them to search their archives I am told that neither of these brothers are on their lists. They have suggested the Sheffield and Ecclesall Bierlow Workhouses whose records are held by the Sheffield Archives. Can anyone help me to find out how I can access these records. Details of which I need to find are of : William BOOTH born 11 Feb 1915 and Ernest BOOTH born 20 May 1916. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Janet Western Australia
