Is the Wicker one long street, or is it a surrounding area? I note in the Big Flood appeals for re-imbursment, that addresses such as Andrews Street, Wicker and Shelden Street, Wicker are mentioned. I am making a detailed search of the Wicker in years 1891-1900 and have seen the census for 1891 where I could list all the shops, houses etc on the Wicker but for 1901 it is not so as I can't order the film in to search. Maybe there is a street directory for the mid-1890s that will help me. I would need a list of all places on the Wicker. If the Wicker area is larger then I may not succeed in the 'look-up' I need. Details are unclear form my 'source' so I may have to realise that my chances are slim of finding the family I seek (surname unknown at present) Aileen in Australia
