Hiya, can SKS help find me SAMUEL MARTIN BAGGIN marriage please. My Gr.Gr.Gr. grandfather JOHN BAGGAN was bt in Pontefract 1822 to JAMES & ANNE I thought his brother was JAMES MARTIN BAGGAN bt 1825 but must have read bt. records & 1841 Census (where they both on in Pontefract) wrongly. (I must go check them for myself) The bt. for Pontefract has been transcribed & published & they have him as SAMUEL MARTIN BAGGAN. A very very kind member of this site has sent me all BAGGIN's in Yorkshire 1861 & I have been able to make out three families. One is my JOHN's family living in Pontefract, one is GEORGE (born Dublin) wife CAROLINE (b.Sheffield) & family living in Nether Hallam & the last is SAMUEL (b. Pontefract) with his children living in Attercliffe Darnell no wife listed. Do any of these other families "belong" to anyone? Would anyone know where/when & to who did SAMUEL marry? Or when they bt their 4 children ELIZA c.1847 ANN c.1848 HENRY c.1854 & MARY c.1856 in Sheffield Does anyone have the 1851 Census Index & could let me have details of these two families living in Sheffield, please THANK YOU so much, Maureen
