I under stand that the Bradway Grange Road was named after the house. The property was purchased by Tebar TINKER in 1850 and the farming still continued at the Grange until 1957 when the last of the farm land was built on. I am planning to visit the area at the end of June and would love to know if the house is still standing and if so what is the address. Hi Just to tell you that Bradway Grange Farm is still standing. Most of the land to the north is occupied by new housing but to the south, it is open fields still. They run a Riding School there and sell Fresh Farm Eggs and Duck Eggs. If you get to Bradway, follow the road to Holmesfield and as it takes a sharp left turn round Tinker's corner, the farm is about 100 yards on the left. I passed it yesterday and I am sure that if you went there they would be happy to help you although I don't know them myself. I also found this for you incase you do not know what the company did. Tedbar Tinker Hire Plant and power tool hire and sales 53 Carlisle Street, Sheffield S4 7LJ [June 2005] This is in the Attercliffe area of Sheffield where the Steel Works used to be. Funnily enough, when I had my little printing business I seem to remember doing some printing for them, but that is a long time ago. So the company is still in business. I hope your trip is successful and will let us know how you get on.
