To be more exact, Hooten Pagnell, is a small very old village with a lovely old church, which is situation to the North of Doncaster more or less in line with Hickleton but further north. There are two other villages closely linked Brodsworth, and Pickburn, which I have found transcribed as Pigburn, as it is locally called.
