Hi everyone Is anyone researching ROWLAND in Sheffield and has this family or can anyone help please? I have the following family in 1841 living in Hollis Croft, Sheffield. They are all born Sheffield. Sarah ROWLAND (wid) Age 40 Thomas ROWLAND (son) Age 15 John ROWLAND (son) Age 15 Caroline ROWLAND (dau) Age 10 Matilda ROWLAND (dau) Age 5 Wilfred ROWLAND (son) Age 5 I know that Caroline had an illegitimate child Eliza Catherine ROWLAND born 19 May 1846 also Sheffield. If anyone can find the marriage for Sarah as this would give the husband and Sarah maiden name. Caroline must have married later if anyone can find a marriage or find her on the 1851 or 1861 census then it will help narrow the field for searching for a marriage.
