There are no entries for Michael JENKINSON in the 1861 census name index for Sheffield but there is a Micahel JINKINSON. He was a 25 year old unmarried lodger living at Hill, Bradfield, in the household of Stonemason John Couldwell. He was a mine labourer born in Bradfield.
