Thank you to Carol, Christine, Margaret and Hugh who all responded so quickly to my problem' family of Greensmiths! I have established dates of marriages and deaths and found several new members of the family. Because I only have access to the 1841 census and then the 1871/81 some children are born, married and leave home in the intervening years without being noticed! I now think Mary A Greensmith was the daughter of the son Charles. But I don't know what happened to her as I can't find a marriage. Many thanks to you all.
